Reading through the RP, I got to wonderin' about the pasts of our characters. The important things they've done in the current RP, things things they've done in past RPs, things that have happened in flashbacks, etc. So, I was thinking it'd be nice if we all did a step-by-step list of the events in our characters' lives.

If anyone's bored enough to do this, I'll love you forever. :|


Axikasha "Ax" Keiran

• Ax leads a fairly normal life as a Loyalist soldier in Lutherin, with her best friend Viirsa often keeping her out of trouble. Her father, General Arthaniel Keiran, is a well-known soldier seen by many as a hero.
  
  
• When she's 18 or so, the civil war in Libaterra starts getting pretty intense.
  
  
• At the age of 19, Ax helps defend the capital from a Rebel attack. Here, she encounters her father, who is now with the Rebels. He forces her to fight, and she kills him, but ends up with a horrible scar across her face.
  
  
• Confused and fed up with the state of things, Ax leaves Lutherin.
  
  
• She works for a while doing odd jobs in the country, then runs into Shyla Locken. Wanting to protect Shyla, who reminds her of Viirsa, Ax follows her to Trinity Gask.
  
  
• In Trinity Gask, the two officially meet and decide to travel together. Ax learns who Shyla really is: The queen of Libaterra.
  
  
• The two hear about another attack on Lutherin and decide to go and see if they can help out. Along the way, in the Temple of the Unknown God, they encounter Schuldich and the sword Dawn. Artemicia shows up, pwns Schuldich and steals Dawn.
  
  
• Ax and Shyla continue on towards Lutherin. Along the way they are captured and separated. Ax eventually escapes and flees Libaterra altogether, fearing that Shyla is dead and feeling responsible.
  
  
• Ax wanders around as a mercenary for two years.
  
  
• While in Remon, Ax hears stories of Dusk and sees the vision of Marcus. Reminded of the sword she encountered years before, and not having much else to do, she goes to investigate. On the way there, she runs into Colonel Dalthas, an old friend of her father's who is now working with the Yamatians.
  
  
• In the Elven capital of Sanae, Ax joins Marcus and his Fellowship as a mercenary. She quickly becomes acquainted with Refan, Skye, Kage, Marcus, and others.
  
  
• As the Yamatian army nears Folsworth, Ax offers to help scout. She manages to gather a little information, but is injured and, at her insistence, left behind.
  
  
• Like a dumbass, Marcus rushes off to rescue her. Ax's old friend Viirsa (who showed up in Sanae with the Aisonian travelers) comes along, and the two are reunited. They return to Sanae together and have a few awkward convos.
  
  
• Ax gets a little crazy with a ballista in the Folsworth battle against the Yamatians, and (working together with Hector, Viirsa, Abel, and a few others) manages to bring down a wall and a bunch of other dopey shit. Dalthas shows up again and helps out, then dies at the hands of Captain Amano. Ax kills Amano and decides that sooner or later, she'll fulfill Dalthas' request and return to Libaterra to help set things right.
  
  
• As the group marches towards Remonton, Ax volunteers for the infiltration mission to capture the Yamatian councillors and open the city gates. She also finds a minute to tell Marcus that she's not with the Fellowship as a mercenary anymore, but as a true ally.
  
  
• Marcus tells Ax about the Faerfolc rampaging in Libaterra, which upsets her and causes her to feel guilty. Ax and company make it into the Remonton palace and start huntin' Yamatians, with Ax being a little bossier and bitchier than usual. xD

...Looking that over, Ax is starting to seem like a lesbian.

I'd do lists for Shyr and Viirsa, but they don't have a whole lot of history yet. Maybe later on down the road.

This is what has happened to my characters so far (from now on I'll add stuff into their wiki entries as the story progresses instead of editing this entry):


Belial

• Belial and his older brother Antigonus are born into the noble de Ardyn family in Maar Sul. When the boys are young, their parents die from a plague, and rival nobles take over the family lands, forcing the boys to run for their lives.
  
  
• The Order of the Black Rose finds Belial and Antigonus and offers a deal: they will help the boys regain their lands if the boys in turn become members of the Order and help fund it. The boys agree.
  
  
• After many years of hard struggles and political maneuvers, Belial and Antigonus succeed in crippling the enemy nobles and taking back the family lands. They also rise to be the new leaders of the Order of the Black Rose when the previous leader of the Order dies under mysterious circumstances.
  
  
• The Order of the Black Rose grows and gains many allies throughout the years, and Belial and Antigonus plan to take over the world by acting in the shadows. They learn of the Dragon Diamond which would unleash a Dark Dragon, and they decide to free the dragon and make it their slave.
  
  
• Despite Belial's protests, Antigonus marries a woman from a less influential Waldheim family in Remon. The wife gives birth to Desdemona but dies in labour, and the wife's brother Dieter blames Belial and Antigonus for murdering her.
  
  
• Antigonus marries again, this time an elf from Folsworth Woods and the result is a half-elf boy named Mordecai. The elfess falls ill and dies a few months later, and Belial learns that the elves call the disease Blood Fever.
  
  
• Belial and his brother find out the existence of demons and try to persuade them to join their ranks. Some decide to join whereas one specific case, a demon named Omaroch, decides to oppose the brothers' plan to unleash the Dark Dragon.
  
  
• Despite warnings from Belial, Antigonus underestimates the power of Omaroch who hides the Dragon Diamond and slaughters many members of the Order, including Antigonus himself. Belial vows to avenge his brother's death and begins rebuilding the Order, and he also becomes the caretaker of his brother's orphaned children Desdemona and Mordecai. Belial figures out what he is going to say to Omaroch once he meets him, and he practices years to utter these phrases as precisely as possible.
  
  
• Mordecai starts showing symptoms of Blood Fever, and Belial uses the magic from Antigonus's tomes to give Mordecai an enchanted armor which will keep Mordecai alive until a cure is found.
  
  
• Belial and the Order of the Black Rose keep a low profile during the Yamatian invasion of the world and the Great War, although Belial tries to manipulate the events in Maar Sul for his favour, going as far as to recruit the infamous mercenary Glaurung.
  
  
• Ten years after the war Belial is nearly assassinated by a member from his own ranks, and he learns for the first time about the existence of the Totenkopfs and what their plans are in Remon. Belial decides to travel to Remon to learn more of the Totenkopfs and to hinder their plans, but he also plans to form an alliance with Remoners in hopes of making the Order of the Black Rose a powerful force again.
  
  
• Belial and a select crew of his supporters arrive in Ravensworth by boat. They are attacked soon after, and the ship sinks, taking many crew members with it. Belial and the survivors are saved by Ax and her pirate crew, and the groups decide to join forces and travel to Remonton to stop the plans of the Totenkopfs. During the journey Belial meets Dieter von Waldheim, the brother of Antigonus's late wife, and the two men immediately feel animosity towards each other.
  
  
• Belial and his companions enter Remonton which is now under control of the Proninist Party. Belial happens to find a man carrying a green blade, and he mistakes him for Omaroch and attacks. Belial spares the man when he hears that the man is in fact Omaroch's son Refan, and he manipulates Refan to become his servant, hoping to use the man against Omaroch later on.
  
  
• Belial tries to negotiate with the Proninists but is thrown in jail instead, accompanied by Refan and the cleric Unithien. The trio is saved by Ax's crew, and they end up helping Ax and the others fight against an ice elemental which the Totenkopfs have unleashed into Remonton.
  
  
• The ice elemental is defeated after a brutal battle which destroys Remonton. Belial finds out from the injured Desdemona that the Totenkopfs used the elemental as a distraction and kidnapped Mordecai while the heroes were fighting. Belial also finds out that King Marcus has returned to take control of Remon, and he plans to use Marcus for his own gain.

Refan

• Refan and his brother Kareth and their mother Delora live a happy life in Remonton. The boys' father Omaroch is chased by the clerics of Mardük who have found out the marriage between Omaroch (follower of Mardük) and Delora (follower of Cardia) and think it's blasphemy.
  
  
• Clerics of Mardük find Delora's home and attack. Delora is raped and killed, and the villains sell Kareth sell to the slave traders. Refan is saved by a thief named Sullena who takes Refan to Ravensworth and teaches him the way of the thieves.
  
  
• At the age of 18, Refan has become a skilled thief and works with Sullena and Izael. One night they try to steal a valuable Dragon Diamond but they're caught by Zarnagon who kills Sullena and captures Izael. Refan barely escapes, woving to save Izael.
  
  
• Refan travels to Remonton and ends up fighting against Zarnagon's minion who becomes the first person he's ever killed.
  
  
• After having a flashback of the death of his mother and finding out how powerful the Dragon Diamond really is, Refan joins the Remonian heroes and travels with them to Fragnar in hopes of finding Izael there.
  
  
• Refan confronts his friend Jessica who turns out to be under Zarnagon's control. In the resulting battle Jessica and her minions are killed, and Refan weeps for Jessica who dies in his arms.
  
  
• Refan and his companions arrive at Fragnar, and he finds Sullena's head in a glass jar and a mocking letter from Zarnagon who has already left the town. This makes Refan hate Zarnagon even more, and he decides not to rest until he can avenge the deaths of his loved ones. Refan also meets his father who then mysteriously disappears.
  
  
• Refan and his companion Daven become merchants when they can't find Zarnagon anywhere. In the following years Yamatians invade Remon, and the duo saves an elf, Nalaen, who joins them.
  
  
• Refan and Daven travel back to Fragnar and meet Leon and Marcus. Leon tells them to travel to Tes Pellaria to find a way to unify Remon so that the Yamatians can be driven out. Refan meets Ferron, a former minion of Zarnagon, for the second time (the first time being in Fool's Haven two years ago, but Refan can't remember it), and Ferron becomes the new member of the hero group while having his own reasons for helping the heroes.
  
  
• Refan and his friends gather up a big group, later known as the Fellowship. They arrive at Tes Pellaria where Refan sees the ghosts of his mother, his first loved one and the first person he killed, who all encourage him to fight for what he believes in. Refan is also given the task to find Omaroch and Kareth, and he finds out that he has to confront Zarnagon if he wants to find his family.
  
  
• Marcus is named King of Remon by the ghosts of the dead. The Fellowship, including Refan, leaves the catacombs and decides to gather an army for Marcus to liberate Remon.
  
  
• During the Battle of Drithenspire Refan encounters the Shadow, a creature sent by Zarnagon. Refan finds out Zarnagon's current whereabouts and knows that the only way to get to Aison to confront him is to help the heroes liberate Remon.
  
  
• Refan falls in love with Skye, and the two eventually become a pair.
  
  
• Refan helps the Fellowship form the Grand Alliance with dwarves, elves and Aisonian heroes. He also helps the heroes defeat the Beastmaster in Folsworth Woods.
  
  
• The Yamatians attack the Grand Alliance in the Battle of Folsworth Woods, and Refan confronts the Shadow for the second time and also gets to talk with Omaroch. Refan also finds Izael who has been completely brainwashed by Zarnagon, and Izael escapes soon after, leaving a heartbroken Refan behind.
  
  
• The Grand Alliance reaches Remonton. Refan infiltrates the palace to capture the Yamatian councillors and defeats the Shadow for the third time.
  
  
• Refan follows the Grand Alliance to Maar Sul and helps them infiltrate the Maar Sulais citadel and capture the traitor Martin Struan. Refan defeats the Shadow for the fourth time.
  
  
• The Grand Alliance liberates Maar Sul and attacks Aison next. During a major battle Refan finally confronts Zarnagon. Omaroch arrives at the scene and reveals that Zarnagon is actually Refan's long-lost brother Kareth and that both of the brothers are half-demons. Omaroch asks them to join him and help free the dark god Mardük, but the terrified Refan flees from battle.
  
  
• Refan and his pregnant girlfriend Skye travel back to Remon and do not participate in the final battles of the Great War. They decide to live in isolation and raise their son, Gabriel, together.
  
  
• During the years after the Great War Refan and his family are being harrassed by the Church of the Memory of Cardia who seem to somehow know that he's a half-demon. Refan defeats all the attackers, but this forces him to move frequently all around Remon.
  
  
• 10 years after the Great War the church finally manages to capture Refan and Gabriel, but Skye's fate remains unknown. Refan and his son are brought in shackles to Remonton where they confront Ferron who has become the leader of the church. The meeting between Refan and Ferron does not go well, and Refan is thrown into a dungeon where he is then tortured.
  
  
• Refan escapes from the dungeon when the Pronist Party takes over Remonton, but he finds out that Ferron has already escaped with Gabriel into the wilderness. Refan vows to get his son back and make Ferron suffer.
  
  
• Refan saves the cleric Unithien from being beheaded because she was the only one who treated him kindly while he was under Ferron's custody. Refan soon faces an angered mage who turns out to be Belial who is mistaking Refan for Refan's father Omaroch.
  
  
• Refan manages to explain things to Belial. The mage decides to spare him and keep both him and Unithien safe is Refan becomes his servant. With no other options left, Refan reluctantly agrees. He, Belial and Unithien are then captured by the Proninists who take them to jail.
  
  
• Refan and his new companions are freed by pirates who turn out to be the companions of Refan's old friend Ax. Refan helps Ax and the others fight against the ice elemental in Remonton and barely survives.

Zarnagon

• Kareth lives happily with his mother Delora and younger brother Refan in Remonton until one day bandits and clerics of Mardük attack the home. Delora is raped and killed, and Kareth is sold to slave traders. Kareth does not know whether Refan is dead or not.
  
  
• Kareth is taken to Yamato where Distreyd XI, the leader of the clerics of Mardük, sees potential in him. Distreyd trains and brainwashes Kareth personally, giving him the name Zarnagon. At this time Zarnagon also gets to know the Dark Twins who become his bodyguards and most trusted minions.
  
  
• After reaching adulthood, Zarnagon is sent to Remon to serve under Count Frederic Drima and is instructed to find the Dragon Diamond which holds power that the Clergy of Mardük wants. Zarnagon, Drima and a cleric named Ferron form a trio that decides to use the diamond for themselves once they find it instead of handing it over to Distreyd.
  
  
• Zarnagon has affairs with various women, which will eventually result in him getting many sons and daughters. He keeps this fact a secret from most people, including even Distreyd XI. During the following years Zarnagon's first son Xerathas is born. He orders the mother's relatives to take care of the boy in secret until the right time comes for Xerathas to reveal himself to the world as Zarnagon's heir.
  
  
• Zarnagon meets the three elven Korath brothers (Egendaul, Firion, Maiyr) in Remon. He manipulates them into serving him, causing Maiyr's transformation into the Beastmaster, and plots with them to make the racial conflict between elves and humans even worse in order to keep the Provisional Government focused on the racial conflict instead of on the Clergy of Mardük itself.
  
  
• Zarnagon eventually recovers the Dragon Diamond but finds out that only those who are direct descendants of the elven sage who created the diamond can use the diamond to locate the valley where the Dark Dragon resides. Zarnagon finds out that a certain half-elven thief named Izael happens to be the chosen one to use the diamond, and Zarnagon decides to kidnap him.
  
  
• Izael and his friend Refan and mentor Sullena fall into Zarnagon's trap when they come to steal the diamond from Drima's ship. Izael is captured and Sullena is killed in the process, but Refan manages to escape. At this time Zarnagon notices Refan's strange Emerald Blade Smaragdos for the first time and thinks the sword might have a great power hidden within it.
  
  
• Zarnagon, Drima and Izael sail to Remonton where they consult with Ferron and then leave for Fragnar. Zarnagon also instructs Ferron to dispose of Refan and orders him to take the young man's sword.
  
  
• Zarnagon and Drima reach Fragnar where Zarnagon brainwashes Izael to make him join the Clergy and he also briefly talks with Egendaul. Zarnagon becomes the leader of the group by manipulating his minions, forcing his former boss Drima to become his mere subordinate.
  
  
• Zarnagon finds out that Ferron failed to eliminate Refan, and he brainwashes Refan's friend Jessica to kill the thief although this is more to annoy Refan than anything else. Zarnagon begins setting up a trap because he's certain that Refan will reach Fragnar alive. However, he soon realizes that he must hurry to the valley of the dragon before the blizzards of the season arrive, and so he leaves Fragnar and also leaves a present behind for Refan: Sullena's decapitated head in a glass jar as well as an accompanying mocking letter.
  
  
• Zarnagon, Drima, Izael and the Dark Twins reach the valley thanks to the power of the Dragon Diamond and Izael's skill, but they cannot revive the dragon because they need more items to do it. Zarnagon finds the Ruby Blade Inferno in the ruins and takes it as his own, and he also finds out that Refan's sword Smaragdos plays an important part in the Dark Dragon's revival. This motivates Zarnagon to spend even more resources in order to steal Refan's sword.
  
  
• The Shogun (who killed the emperor) and Distreyd XII (who killed his father Distreyd XI) become the new leaders of Yamato and the Clergy of Mardük and form an alliance. As they begin the invasion of Libaterra, Zarnagon is called back to Yamato. Impressed by Zarnagon's actions and skills, the new Distreyd makes Zarnagon his right-hand man.
  
  
• Libaterra, Remon and Maar Sul fall, and Distreyd orders Zarnagon to invade Aison. Zarnagon is successful but fails to find the deposed king Byron Kagawest who is essential in locating certain items Zarnagon needs to revive the dragon. Zarnagon becomes the Steward of Myridia and the de facto ruler of Aison and builds a Dark Tower, Norash'bador, next to Castle Myridium to show his power.
  
  
• Zarnagon has Admiral Yasuo assassinated but faces a new representative of the Shogun: the elven captain Varalia Earthhaven. Zarnagon and Varalia instantly despise each other, but none of them admit that they actually have some feelings for each other. During this time Zarnagon also creates the Shadow and sends it to steal Refan's sword Smaragdos because Zarnagon himself is unable to do that because he has his hands full in Aison.
  
  
• Zarnagon's minions locate many of the essential items needed to revive the Dark Dragon, and Zarnagon makes an amulet of a shard of the Dragon Diamond in order to use the amulet to channel the actual diamond's power through him. He also revives the twelve Dark Prophets who were followers of the Dragon, and is reunited with his son Xerathas for the first time in years.
  
  
• Zarnagon realizes that many of his top officers in Aison are plotting to overthrow him. He instantly sends his loyal minions to purge Myridia of traitors, and sends his top officer Takamoto away from Varalia in order to hinder the duo's plans. He also rapes Varalia and forces her into his harem.
  
  
• A group of heroes infiltrate Castle Myridium, but they fall into a trap. Although Ax succeeds in stealing the magic sword Dawn from Varalia, Zarnagon and Varalia slaughter many of the heroes.
  
  
• The Grand Alliance travels to Aison in hopes of liberating it, and during the battle Zarnagon confronts many heroes. He slaughters a lot of them and ends up fighting a fierce duel against Refan. Omaroch arrives at the scene and explains that Zarnagon has been brainwashed and is in fact his son Kareth and the older brother of Refan. He also explains that both of the brothers are actually half-demons. Refan flees the scene in terror, but Zarnagon decides to join his father and help release the dark god Mardük.
  
  
• The Grand Alliance succeeds in liberating Aison, and Zarnagon and Omaroch head for the Dark Dragon which will help Mardük conquer the world. Zarnagon uses the power of his medallion, which has absorbed some power from both Refan's sword Smaragdos and Zarnagon's sword Inferno, to release the dragon.
  
  
• Zarnagon suddenly betrays Omaroch and injures him, explaining that he plans to have revenge on both Cardia and Mardük for ruining the life of his family and that he actually has no intention of letting Mardük rule the world. Zarnagon is absorbed into the Dark Dragon, and the being transforms into a new demon/dragon hybrid: the Godslayer.
  
  
• The Godslayer heads to Yamato where a great battle rages. The Godslayer devours both Cardia and Mardük and is about to destroy everything else when its powers are mysteriously drained. It retreats to Aison which it establishes as its new domain. The Godslayer appoints Xerathas, Zarnagon's eldest son, as the new ruler of Aison and then falls into a deep sleep.

Nymgrock Sigiln

• Born into the Sanae Aristocracy. Takes an early interest in history, magic, and ancient texts through private studies at the Sanae Royal Library.
  
  
• Was noticed by Amandil at an early age and was then enrolled Sanae Royal Academy. He graduated from the Academy studying magic and tactics at the age of 69, becoming one of the youngest to graduate with the rank of Scholar.
  
  
• After graduation, becomes an apprentice to the royal court mages, recieving a personalized staff, Istathar.
  
  
• By the age of 75, Nymgrock grows tired of his life, having realized that he has been tied to one area, with no one to grow and expand and learn. Decides to take a large sum of money from his family's vault and exiles himself from Folsworth during the Great War.
  
  
• Commissions a contingency of human workers to build a cabin in a secret location roughly ten miles southeast of Etruria. Upon his return, he learns of the Blood Fever affecting the forests of Folsworth. Begins spending his time in isolation, studying, meditating, and occasionally venturing out toward Etruria to visit the markets. On occasion, he makes trips to Sanae to sneak into the Royal Library and steal books.
  
  
• In his seven years of isolation, Nymgrock has acquired vast arrays of knowledge and ideas and in doing so, writes hundreds upon hundreds of memoirs and essays detailing his knowledge and what he has uncovered.

Dylas Rin Theron

• Born as the third child to an aristocratic Remonton family. Mother died during birth.
  
  
• Father remarries an elf many years later. Gives Birth to his half-brother Amon. Amon's mother also dies during childbirth. Dylas feels a bond toward Amon since both lost their mothers due to complications at their birth.
  
  
• Father dies during The Great War. Shortly thereafter, over the time the estate was being settled, bandits broke into the Theron house killing Dylas' older siblings and his step-mother, leaving he and Amon left. Dylas inherits the entirety of the state as Amon is still just a baby.
  
  
• Shortly after, Dylas is appointed to the Stewards' Council.

Kagetsu Aurelac de Maar Sul I (deceased)

• Born so long ago even fire can't remember him, the offspring of the Earthmother Gaea and some man-slut
  
• Founds the nation of Maar Sul as a home for his fellow andain. Named the third Lord of the Andain for this achievement
  
• Launches a war against the gods. Most andain side with him. A notable andain opponent of Kagetsu's was Taliesin, who was to succeed him as the Lord of the Andain
  
• Kills his mom
  
• Gets his ass handed to him by Taliesin, who seals him up in a big rock or something
  
• Over ten thousand years later, Leon fucks up and breaks one of the Laws of the Andain (A series of instructions originally written by Kagetsu to keep andain from fucking up); this fuckup frees Kagetsu, who still wants to blow up the world and make a new one.
  
• Becomes a good guy because some bastard kidnapped his wife
  
• Almost succeeds in blowing up the world. It was an accident

Leon Alcibiates

• Born about 20 years before the Ofuchi Ussurpation, the offspring of the goddess Artemicia and some alcoholic from Montblanc, Grandbell. Grows up not knowing that he's andain
  
• Gets beat up a lot by his brothers, but protected by his sister
  
• His dad finds out he's bisexual and disowns him
  
• Meets up with Hiroshi Hayabusa, his first true love. Hiroshi's straight, though. Discovers his andain heritage, but is too much of a fuckup to make any use of it
  
• Gets poisoned by his mom to keep him from learning to use his andain power. She needn't have worried
  
• Hiroshi dies. Leon goes into a black depression
  
• Manster rebellion. I can't remember anything that happened then, so neither can Leon. Officially. I think he had the hots for Wesley's character at some point in this campaign.
  
• Grandbell civil war. Participates on the side of King Lysander, meets the Silverbranch brothers. Falls in love with Alain Silverbranch, who is promptly tortured to death by Queen Alenia's minions.
  
• Arawn Losstarot war. Leon manages not to fall madly in love with any heterosexual men. He does decide it would be an awesome idea to try to kill Arawn, who has godlike powers, armed only with a belt knife.
  
• Dies of multiple stab wounds inflicted by Arawn. His last words were "Oh gods that's my spleen"
  
• Leon is resurrected as an undead revenant by Ayna Silverbranch, the last of the Silverbranch line. She's about eighty five years old. Leon falls in love with her, she dies of old age ten minutes later.
  
• Travels the world in search of the true wielder of the Silver Branch entrusted to him by Ayna.
  
• His travels take him to Remon. Meets and falls madly in love with Dorças Luchester, who is promptly executed for treason.
  
• Is re-united with the spirits of Despard and Grady Silverbranch, who have merged with Princes Kagetsu (II) and Geraud of Maar Sul.
  
• Learns that his old flame Alain has merged with Maar Sulais princess Réin Aurelac.
  
• Learns that Réin was murdered by Martin Struan's minions
  
• Says "fuck" a bunch of times
  
• Learns that Remy Aurelac de Maar Sul was also murdered by Martin Struan's minions. Is not in love with Remy. Does not say "fuck"

* Age 19, joined the Fellowship of Tes Pellaria.

* Initiated a show of fealty to the newly revealed King of Remon, Marcus, by suggesting they throw their swords at his feet. Demonstrated by doing so, but he may have not been entirely sincere.

* Slayed a group of Yamatian ambushers naked.

* Used his extra-sensory abilities to see through the illusions of Seishuu Kazajin.

* Age 22, was stabbed with his own sword and then struck by a lightning bolt in the Second Battle of Myridia by Kareth d'Zarnagon.

* Age 23, defiled a nunnery after recovery from his "death".

* Age 25, lost his second sight while searching Yamato for his sensei, and was forced to relearn not only swordsmanship, but most everything else as well.

* For almost a decade he fought demons in Yamato. Had a romantic interlude with a demon noblewoman, fought alongside various factions against the demons, and then finally when set up for a duel with a demon he was knocked unconscious and stored on a caravan headed near Vanna.

* Age 34, rejoins the Grand Alliance.

* Alongside Ax, delivered one of the killing blows to Plushiebunny.

* Fought in the battle to depose Adela, and bonded with the young Hannibal when saving his life afterwards.

* Realized his feelings for the Vaetris of the Blades after a one night stand with another woman.

* Disgusted with the Alliance's attempt to use Hannibal's life as a bargaining chip again his mother, he freed Hannibal (but not his assassin servants), and invited Vaetris along on the trip to Trinity Gask.

* The trip was interrupted by part of a married foursome of bounty hunting demons.

* The group would arrive with Briss and the deposed Adela at Trinity Gask to much fanfare, but Saleos, the leader of the demon bounty hunters, secretly poisoned Jono, smothering his senses and temporarily reconnecting him to the spiritual aspect of his lost abilities.

• As a youth he was part of the Infinite Dragons, a dwarven gang who show their allegiance with with an Ouroboros serpent tattoo.
  
• He was left to die by his fellow gang members after a particularly brutal gang war. He was arrested and charged for the malicious wounding of several men, and served many years in a Remonton prison.
  
• When he got out he joined the military, but soon was disenchanted by the ordeal and went awol.
  
• After years on the road, he joined a vigilante group called the Wings of Remon, adding another membership tattoo to his body. With them he would patrol and police the lawless countrysides of Remon.
  
• An as yet unknown event causes him to leave the Wings of Remon, and he sets up shop as a private detective.
  
• Recently he was approached by Maar Sul authorities to follow the Grand Alliance aboard the Hiltraud, and investigate suspects in the murder of Belial.
  
• After some exhaustive investigating, he breaks cover to Ax over suspicious items in Ronove's belongings, a demon skull and a Totenkopf flag.
  
• In the desert, he secretly attacks the traitor Awar and retrieves the shard of Krystallopr for the Alliance.
  
• Doing some reconnaissance on behalf of the Alliance in the palace of Vanna, he stumbles upon a trap to use Daven in a ceremony to reforge Krystallopr. This causes him to approach one of the suspects he's been following, Refan, in an attempt to remove the Lefein. He didn't break cover, though. Instead he pretended to be working for Ax in an official and secretive capacity.

We have a wiki entry for Marcus but it's still incomplete. If you feel like writing anything about Marcus or anything else related to tGA, feel free.

There's also the New State of the World thread which summarizes major events of the plot and also has a summary of various kingdoms in this new age.

Anyway, here's a quick rundown of Marcus since the last time you posted in the RP:

Short Summary:

11 years have passed since the end of the Great War with Yamato. Marcus is still the King of Remon and the leader of the Grand Alliance. He's currently with a bunch of other heroes in the desert city of Vanna (a sort of Medieval Arab city) in Libaterra and tries to defend it from a besieging demon army.

Longer Summary:

Marcus disappeared at the end of the Cataclysm which ended the Great War. Remon fell in chaos, and many independent city-states were formed while a council of stewards tried to keep things from falling apart. Many assumed Marcus to be dead, but Marcus was actually being held as a prisoner of Shyralis, a cleric of Mardük, who had slowly been brainwashing him to do her bidding.

10 years after the end of the war Marcus, now under Shyralis's control, returned to Remon with Shyralis as his "advisor". He was reunited with many friends, including Ax and Refan. A year later Marcus formed the Grand Alliance again in order to build an army and go help Maar Sul which was under attack by the sinister Proninist Party (read: communists).

Marcus was kidnapped by a group led by Xerathas, the son of Zarnagon, and taken to an ancient temple where Xerathas wanted to trade him for the sword Dawn which Ax had. Ax led a rescue party to the temple and saved Marcus while Xerathas's posse was taken as prisoners. They joined the army of the Alliance which reached Maar Sul a few days later.

The leaders of the Alliance found out that one of the heroes, Khalid, was in fact an exiled Sultan from the city of Vanna in Libaterra. The Alliance promised to restore Khalid to his rightful throne if he gave his tribes' support for the Alliance in return. The Alliance also heard that the Proninists had joined forces with a few sinister forces and formed the Crimson Coalition, an evil counterpart of the Alliance.

At the same time the noblewoman Desdemona tried to seduce Marcus, and Marcus was also attracted to Ax. Marcus tried to break free from Shyralis's control but failed. Eventually Marcus sought Xerathas who promised to give him a new identity if he helped him in return. Marcus agreed, and Xerathas gave him the name Noche while Xerathas's servant, the Shadow, transformed into a fake Marcus.

While Shyralis and the fake Marcus returned to Remon and the army of the Alliance remained in Maar Sul to fight against the Coalition, Ax's group travelled to Libaterra with Xerathas and the real Marcus who was disguised as Noche. The heroes restored Khalid to the throne of Vanna, and Marcus stopped pretending to be someone else and took back his old identity. Seeing that Marcus rebelled against him, Xerathas showed his true colours and tried to steal Dawn and Dusk but was driven away.

Thanks to Xerathas's help Marcus was now free from Shyralis's control. However, he knew that he had left Remon in the hands of an impostor and decided that he'd return to Remon as soon as possible to set things right. He also confessed his feelings to Ax who was torn between her love for Khalid, Marcus and Refan.

Right now Marcus is with Ax, Refan, Khalid and a few other heroes and defends Vanna which is besieged by a big demon army.

It's funny, Jono and Fel are the characters I really tried to make my main characters, but people like Azriel, the Three, and the Mathesons have accomplished so much more.

That's pretty much what happened to me with Unithien. I intended her to be my main character but people like Belial, Khalid, Refan, Ronove and Xerathas stole the spotlight from her.

I intend to remedy that.
